easa 1981-2005 exhibition
hey ppl,
i have this project at school called something 'taking care of an exhibition'. it's virtual and i don't have to literally make it. anyhow, i want to present the easa-history, so i would be delighted to know where i can find some summaries (pictures of workshop results with descriptions, i am trying to say...) of at least 5 last easas?
thanksĄ

( as adams link was way too obvious... :D )

freigeist.info

its actually in the old easa-archive cd, that was given out a couple of years ago. i presume i'll have to bring a set of fresh new copies to the incm.
i hope people well see the connection ...:)

some sublinks don't work, apologies for that

rimbaud, September 15, 2005 11:58:55 PM CEST
shouldn't we have this link-list pointed to on the left sidebar [like the contacts]?
think it would be nice for ppl that want to get some insight into easa-life.
eventually it should be edited a little to make it look a little less ehm ... dunk-style [sorry jelk ;-) ].

jelkkruk, September 16, 2005 1:54:02 AM CEST
i think we indeed should have this post link-listed on the left sidebar, and i think we should have the new "up-to-date links" there too. (good we have them though)

imnsho the answer to the second question seems to speak for itself, but suit yourself if you think it is better any other way.

you're welcome!

jelk

paradeiser, September 19, 2005 8:56:28 AM CEST
youre right. it was just a snapshot during my workingtime in the office... will try to make it look nicer and put it in the left sidebar. ;-)

jim hayton, September 21, 2005 2:52:26 PM CEST
.. I've had a quick look through!.
Maybe this can help us estimate how many photos are taken at easa - I guesss around 40,000 (x100 each person!?)

Thanks chaps,
Jim

sennahoj, September 22, 2005 10:09:56 AM CEST
this years easa ? i believe there is more.
the complete data collected during easa is close to 100 gigabytes, and that actually is proabaly not even half
of what people photographed and filmed in these 2 weeks.
people who took a lot of pictures, would have around 500mb to 1 gig of pics, and so i believe we can safely assume the amount of pics, near to 100k (not counting movies, actually)

schrott, September 23, 2005 11:21:10 AM CEST
with counting the pictures contained in the movies then! :-)

and thanks for copying the huge amount of data to the harddisk. we made a backup, and boris is now sorting out the whole mess. we're slowly approaching something useful :-) the final report consists of a 4-page-table-of-contents so far, predicting 456 pages... and the website update is somehow on its way.

we're also thinking of installing some huge account somewhere on the web where people can upload their pictures so we have a collection of the 40'000-100'000, but that's just an idea and needs to be organised.

so you see, there is a lot of things that need to be and will be done..............

you managed...

I am supposed to hand in a delivery in 2h and instead I am here going through all the links and getting very nostalgic for the great time when I was a student and feeling terribly old.

BTW: Could anyone had suggested me to cut my hair during the Bornholms NC metting? Look at this:

I miss you all guys!
