Marko, there have been enough warnings. Delete the trash of the irish lunatic. This is your responsibility. If you are unable to fulfil your responsibility, please hand it over to someone else.

jelk, dont f*&%/ with me.this is an open board, everybody can see who is writing this postings - obviously its your personal opinion (even your picture is there, so nobody can mix you up). same for other postings. everybody is allowed to post stories, speaking his mind. this is called democracy. i dont presume to judge who should be allowed to write and who should not. neither do you. if you want an easa decision make a voting through the official nc_list email group. btw: i've got the impression your perseverative yellking does more harm to the board then duncs posting every now and then. follow'up to poster. adam cp, Saturday, 29. Hallo Marko, Jelk, Dunc and Everybody else...As far as I have understood EASA should be an apolitical, architectural forum! A forum where students of architecture from all of europe and even beyond can meet and discuss and get to know each other, despite all their differences - be they religous, economic, political, sexual, whatever!! Duncan is not only pissing several people off, he is also challenging this vision of EASA! His opinions are not open for discussion - because he knows he is right, he will (has) never move(d) one millimeter from his standpoint. His world is black and white - if you are not with him you are against him! He insists EASA should be politcal! He insists that the only reasons for not doing like him is being either afraid, ignorant or evil! He insists the discussions the rest of us have are not "real discussions about architecture"! His definition of architecture is: "everything I do is architecture" - a definiton so broad that it is completely meaningless ! He is clearly a man on a mission - this mission however, despite all his good intentions, has very, very little to do with EASA! And I'm getting sick and tired of having all his prejudices and simple political views thrown at me! For about a week now "STOP BUSH" has been the first thing you saw entering this blog. Allthough I agree completely with the statement itself, I find it extremely inapropriate in this context. Firstly because even people who like bush should be able to enter this site, to discuss architecture and EASA, without getting a bucket of shit in their faces. And secondly it gives strangers a totally distorted picture of what EASA is about! I think banning Dunc and deleting his posts would fit very badly with the "EASA spirit". Instead I suggest we make a specifically "political" sub forum or something similar, where posts like Duncs will belong - and not pop up at the top. And people will be able to join the fun there if they feel like! It's a solution I have seen working in other forums. These were my own personal opinions, please consider them. Love to y'all - even you, evil, evil Dunc ;) Adam phew...that sure was my longest and angriest post ever - sorry about that... jelkkruk, Sunday, 30. May 2004, 00:43
adam, this is extremely well said, paradeiser, do your job jelk ps: radeiser: don't mix up spam, freedom of speech and democracy, even though related, it is different stuff. democracy has to do with voting and rules. the rules are clear here as they are outlined in the EASA guide. it is saddening to see your reluctancy to accept and maintain those democraticaly achieved rules paradeiser, Sunday, 30. May 2004, 03:36
i agree adam, you got the point. i'll move it to a special topic politics. but i'm also sick about someone being precocious and feeling like easa's sheriff.@jelk: get over it! maybe your aim in life is somewhere else to find... i think everybody should be able to announce happenings and gatherings even if they are not 100% easa related. thats all about, tell people what you are standing for - whats goin on. or should easa be a dull thing, discussing ages till someone may come up with his mind. c'on, everybody reading this blog knows every posting is subjective, thats how it works. many different minds are more interresting than one 100%-compliant mind! if you are not capable of making your own mind and appraise the content of the postings, then i'm just feelin pity for you. sorry man. i'm so sick about this censorship discussion - pleas dont make me puke. jelkkruk, Sunday, 30. May 2004, 03:51
thank you for doing your job. it seems like you finally agree with me. i don't know why you waste so many words on it.kisses baby, jelk loves you ps: sleep tight! paradeiser, Sunday, 30. May 2004, 11:30
right jelk, i wasted too many words for explaining it to you. you never gonna understand it. it wasnt about doing you a favour, dont make it look like that, i'm going to get angry thinking about it.... grand master j. (google it to know more about his fate)just to make it plain to you: i do not agree with you. open your mind! jelkkruk, Sunday, 30. May 2004, 18:03
is this ever gonna stop?of course my love, you don't do me a favour, you just do your job. webmasters do have a responsibility. funny it is how you disagree with me and agree with adam, even though we stress the same points. little short of memory? i think we had the same discussion with your "weblog against war" activities. - anyhow, i don't mind if you feel the need to disagree with me, it is a good thing that the trash is removed from the front page - keep that going! hallelujah! more kisses from an unopen mind duncan, Sunday, 30. May 2004, 14:36
hello ladsglad theres a bit of discussion, i am sorry that i have upset some people but there are some issues that need exploration, in the hope of creating solutions (architectural process) about banning, hiding, censoring etc- it is an OPEN SYSTEM, therefor it should be kept open in terms of content we have to learn how to work with these systems, i just got my book "tintin dans la pays du soviets" stolen from the art gallery- thats the risk you take- easa booklet for lille is also part of this exhibition (art and politics- red archive) id refer you to this article "in my opinion the 2 most progressive systems on the planet are indymedia and social forum, they are both OPEN, they are both communication spaces that simply facilitate the ongoing dialogue of the people of this planet. it is important that they dont state "this is the way everybody should think and act"- so process matters, as opposed to endpoint solutions" i wrote here re "very little to do with EASA! " as an architectural student and architect i am organizing an event- it would be nice if others agreed and participated- im not asking for the easa brand stamp on this action- easa is a space that facilitates discussion about architectural and related issues. it is important that all are encouraged to participate in this dialogue, hopefully from this action is taken to improve things, ie buildig the econ pavilion, a perfect and beautiful way of giving an example adam, firstly hello again i look forward to meeting and talking with you in lille, i was out with geoff yesterday, he dropped out of his thesis year and himself and gemma have taken a break, its hard but geoff is a strong man- i have faith in him, he is one of the few "ALIVE" people in my college, we are going swimming in the sea next week. i hope you see my "mission" is open ended ongoing participitive fun process yesterday i met and talked with artist sarah pierce, she is very happy about the way the project has developed next week will be an open "feedback meeting" whereby all can discuss the exhibition, the content (new artistic, political process) the nature of the "art community" and the "activist community", the nature of art gallerys and that of art itself. so what could happen? dave and myself shook hands, so im getting help- the project has started- all help welcome. a future scenario: WSF8 happens in pakistan (as outlined above) we go to project arts centre for the week to participate- probably @ 2000 people only, most people still unaware of this stuff. so what do we do? put call out for global street party- 20 million people worldwide on the streets to communicate that something important is happening to the world. non violent, non confrontational, fun, educational, celebrational, artistic and political, free, friendly, world changing as you know from reading asterix books, dancing girls make a big difference in case you doubt this, or sceptically think "thats never going to happen" it already has happened 10million for global anti war march, feb 15 2003 love parade berlin- 1989- 150 people take to the streets in a demonstration FOR tolerance, understanding, respect between nations- 1999 1.5 million people dancing on the streets- it fucking rocked gaudi gaudi gaudi spass spass spass sorry if im not too clear, im in a rush, one of my best friends died and i have to go to the church to say some words. i believe in easa and all of you thanks for everything love dunk duncan, Tuesday, 1. June 2004, 14:05
adamdid i explain myself and what do you think - i believe in open systems, free and democratic. where we all get to engage in dialogue with each other, with that we explore many new areas of thinking indymedia and social forum are open systems, anyone can come and have their say, they are merely communication spaces i do believe we have moved into the network age, i do believe the architectural community has been slow to look at the consequences of this new space (where real and virtual world intertwine) anyway leon krier is coming here on fri for an "urban" chat, i hope to have some things for that. my research project was on this subject tak slán dunk comment this story:
