yesterday i went to see the movie "my architect" with some friends. (about l. kahn / his bastard son etc) nice movie, i think it is a must-see, from all kind of perspectives. great filmic impressions of kahn's masterworks, nice line up of old heroes: gehry, johnson (the guy with the glasses), pei, and many more, mostly with hilarious anecdotes. funny moments and touching story. brilliant documentary showing how hard it is to have an architect in your family and illustrating our typical architect's behaviour. after watching this, your parents should be worried. childly advisory!

PS: after a second glance at the website i learned the movie might only be screening in The Netherlands, France, UK, USA, Canada and Australia. However, it is available on DVD (for $22,46 amazon.com has it). For the unhappy architecture students that are not living in one of those listed countries, you still can buy it, consume it, and even see it!!!

By chance I have made contact with an EASA veteran; Mirjana Marjanovic from Belgrade who lives in London and attended EASA summer events & UK-winter schools between 1996 > 98. I will be meeting her this week for a chat and to gain advice for our INCM. Do you and the other Belgrade team know her? shall I say hello?
