Can you help them to find the right way to spend this 5 days? Can you meet them in Varsaw?

Anyway, please, answer me as soon as it possible on getman_yura@yahoo.com

Thank you for your attention, cheers, Yura.

dear nc's!

we have received 21 contibution from 6 different countries. it is very nice to see all the different works and ways of working, and i really encourage you to send us more. all those who just don't manage to get it done before easa can just take a cd with their data and make it in bergün.

besides that important thing, i just want to tell you that we have been preparing your beds and other stuff in the zeughaus from monday to wednesday, and it was terribly beautiful to see the thing getting into a certain shape.

this weekend, we will definitely move to bergün, so it will be a bit more difficult to have contact sometimes. i ask you to excuse that - and to call on our mobiles for VERY urgent stuff (only VERY urgent, please :-), there are too many calls anyway, and if we have only one hand free all the time, the finishing of the bar and other important things will take us too long).

so, i wish you all a great journey as some of you will soon start travelling!

EASA - INCM 2005 > BRIGHTON

Hello . . PEOPLE.

I thought a Pre-EASA005.CH up date of where the UK stands in terms of the INCM would be very sensible - so comments and feedback, experience and suggestions are most appreciated.

At the INCM in Belgrade concerns were raised by the British team that although initially a pitch had been made in France to host the 2005 INCM little progress had been made in its organisation and that momentum had slowed for one reason or another.

WE ARE BACK UP AND RUNNING AT FULL STEAM.

Dates: 05/06 November > 12 November 2005

There are a couple of areas which have made it difficult to organise in the UK. With an increasingly nanny-state we are subject to increasingly stricter laws and regulations. What was so successfully achieved in Belgrade would unfortunately be much harder if not impossible in the UK.

The two greatest issues are Cost and Health & Safety. This is difficult for both you; in reaching and spending money in the UK and for us; funding a short event, essentially an Annual General Meeting without necessarily a direct sponsorship spin-off opportunity.

To aid and keep costs down. The event is planned to be in Brighton and heavily associated with the Brighton University. Brighton is a coastal town 50 miles (80Km) South of London. On the main-line train route from London, it connects two of the major airports into and out of the UK, Gatwick and Stanstead. So your trans-national travel is being kept to a minimum. (Please may people send me likely air travel costs for these dates?)

To make sure that the Health & Safety and Costs can be further resolved we are investigating partnering the event with Brighton University. This will hopefully lead to Accommodation, food and facilities being centralised to one place without having to rely on a Hostel. We no longer have luxury of empty space in Britain, partnering with an established organisation will aid this hugely. It will also activate EASA in the UK, which is greatly needed.

To allow for a partnering scheme there must obviously be a trade off for both parties. EASA wants its INCM and Brighton will want a theme based series of small workshops its students can integrate with. To take the strain off EASA as the INCM is not traditionally theme based or directed, I also suggest that the INCM partners with an existing investigation.

I must make clear that the Theme is not a distraction or whim. As discussed at length at the last INCM there was a total consensus that EASA ought to professionalize its academic approach with Switzerland taking the leading role.

Summary: EASA 2005 INCM - Brighton, UK. 06-Nov >> 12-Nov Partnering with Brighton University Partially Investigative Theme based

Thank you.

I've to cancel my workshop:(

I'd apologize for so late notification. I'll be unable to visit EASA this year because of force majeur. Therefore I've to cacel my "transitional building" workshop:(

I hope it wouldn't hurt the primary EASA program - anyway, I saw a lot of interesting worksops on the web-site.

What about the idea of this worksop, I hope to realize it later...
