You might want to check the new website-proposal: http://easa.x42.at

hello people

the preliminary (+/- second last) website update is ready and on my computer. the problem is that my computer broke down during the backup (... no comment ...) and i couldn't save the data.

the motherboard is broken, and i first need to find someone to save my data from the harddisk. and as i'm leaving for a seminar journey next week, i suppose it's going to take a about 3 weeks - for future organisers to know when they can tell possible sponsors to check the site and expect some reports :-)

data is being sorted out, and it looks like we do have material of around 50% of the workshops, just not always very condensed. now it's about contacting the tutors one by one and ask for material. if you could help us by telling them to send us their posters on their own (to workshop(at)easa005.ch), it would be very helpful.

this is only about the posters for the exhibition. more specific requests will come from our side. the best would be to pack the layout file with all the linked files into a zip-folder and send it. i'll also try to set up an account where whole folders can be uploaded, but i think the deadline will be the same like for the website.

we had a good meeting on sunday for the documentation story. it's set now that we'll get credits from christiaanse for several parts of it, and we can also discuss the issues with his assistants, so i guess it's gonna be good :-)

ciao flo_ch

software

Hey easa creative mass!

Hopefully everybody is enjoying new term of process of self-developing in architecture knowledge)

The reason I’m writing here right now is not so really connected with architecture, but still…you guys probably are more acquainted with it considering last easa. The thing is we (me and my siberian friends) are making a smthlike presentation in a framework of a museum biennale which is taking place in my city in a next month. The theme of the biennale this year is “cinema” in every its manifestations. And we chose “cinema+architecture+psy_party”. The whole idea is already prepared…but the problem we met is a kind of technical stuff…I’m sure everybody remember one of the last easa’s workshop…actually i don’t remember the name of it, but usually the results we could saw on the walls of unforgettable basement of Zeughaus))) Kind of mix of computer technologies and different situations took by video cam. Finally the question is: what software was used to make these exciting workshop things? Of coz if it’s not commercial info))and hopefully tutors and participants will not criticize me for using this way of presenting the ideas))

Thank you in advance!!

By the way all of u who wants to join the biennale or some other stuff are welcome to come and see what’s going on here))

smirnov_slava_ru, see u

recovering

hello everybody! hello again!

the last few days passed in a rush, and i didn't really manage to feel the time passing. after you all left, we stayed in bergün cleaning up and getting things ready for various transports back to zurich. on saturday evening, the 7 left ones managed to leave after a whole day of sweeping the several hundred square meters of the zeughaus. actually i suppose i never had blisters from sweeping before in my life :-)

now, it is about bringing things back and getting information for sponsors ready. but the first priority is definitely to thank you all for coming, to thank you for making this easa a good easa, to thank you for surviving the weather - and last but not least to thank you for your absolutely exuberant thanks here on this forum!

a lot of things need to be done to close this story, and if you don't mind we'll keep you updated here. and still: the goal is to bring at least a preliminary version of the final report to brighton. so keep your fingers crossed for us, please.........

and by the way: pictures of both the impassable bridge and of course the lost and found stuff will be available soon, most probably here on the blog.

cheers, and for the ones that are still ill: get well soon. i'm trying the same!!!
