hello everybody after our stressful action with mails, calls and sms some time ago, tobi went to bergün to meet the responsible for the buildings, and it looks like we're on a good way. one of the next steps will be to set up a contract. concerning the web, our under construction page looks a bit nicer. tonight, i'm also gonna correct the date ;-) from now on, i will do my best to make that thing a bit more interactive, if work allows... but check it out: www.easa005.ch bye flo_ch full story...
great! 21 countries are ok with the change. Hungary Belarus Turkey Russia Denmark Bosnia Armenia Austria Czech Republic Serbia & Montenegro Greece Netherlands Sweden Germany UK Poland Malta Belgium France Spain Ireland Lithuania Cyprus Latvia Croatia Italy Macedonia Slovenia and Norway can +/- live with that decision, missing the first week of their semester. then, we should not forget about south america. actually, i didn't contact you guys as it would take you too long to find out about all over the continent anyway. and last but not least, also switzerland can accept it... greetz flo_ch full story...
hi folks one more time we have to ask a difficult question. is it possible to postbone the easa005 one more week? then the date would be:
we need as much response as possible. in order to deal whit the owner of the place for easa005.ch thx tobias - ch nc full story...
we're slowly, but steadily getting more organised for next year. for any concerns to special topics, write to one of the following e-mail-adresses: generally, there is -> organiser@easa005.ch other exisiting adresses to specific topics are -> workshops@easa005.ch -> lectures@easa005.ch -> visa@easa005.ch (nc's, please start sending info!) -> location@easa005.ch the website, still in its pathetic state like before easa: www.easa005.ch marko, could you please put the "organiser-adress" in the contact list both in the swiss section (leave the personal ones too) and at the contact-point for lost countries? additionally i think it would be great if the appeal for lost countries to contact us would not only be on the bottom of the list! thanks, flo_ch full story...
hi everybody. this topic was just raised in a discussion, far down the screen where not everyone might get ;-) but it's a matter that concerns all of us, and i'd like you to discuss it or comment on it. it's about getting discussions started more easily than usual on easa next year. so: "as we said, one attempt will be a lecture marathon at the beginning, 2 days with 3 lectures each (+/-) and time inbetween for discussion. as i heard during easa from idontrememberwhom, coffee breaks during lectures are a very appreciated mean to fuel discussions. this starting period will allow people to get into the topic at a time when minds are still fresh and motivation probably there. we'll try to do our best to get high quality people that can give a real input." to complete it, i also want to ask what you think about organized discussions like they have it on elea in south america, people sitting around a table and discussing a certain theme. i must confess that i don't think this suits the "philosophy" completely, but let me know your opinion about it. comments on that or other ideas? let us know!!! flo_ch full story...
hello out there we are getting closer to final decisions. our location will soon be fixed. the favourite one is the Kurhaus Bergün. (have a look on www.kurhausberguen.ch ) because of the touristic season it is only possible to go there in august. therefore the date for easa 2005 will be from the 31. July till the 14. August if there are no major objections, we will switch to this date. tobias (Swiss NC / main organiser) full story...
hello everybody! after a very productive and successful meeting with our dean yesterday, we're "looking forward to a bright future" :-) this meeting caused a certain level of feeling safe, if you know what i mean. work on concept'n'aims, theme, location, budget, website and time planning (organisation on the whole) is making good or almost great progress, and a little exhibition in front of the two main lecture halls of the architecture department is being prepared for the beginning of the next semester (april). i hope we'll be able to put up a rough first website in a couple of weeks for you all to leave your comments on what we're doing here. so far the organisation is pure fun and it couldn't go much better actually! greetings from flo (a little bit euphoric) full story...
