i was going to post that yesterday already, but there was a problem with the fonts... now, you can check out the website update in its full beauty. the new section is added below the rest, and it provides info about the participating countries, what important things you need to bring (useful for easa novices), and how you get to switzerland, to zurich and to bergün. check it out, it's a multilayer addition! in a later state, you'll also find pics of your beautiful organising team and info about how to get to bergün by car, where to park etc... my thanks to edward hopper for the nice pics for the moment :-) please let me know if there is a problem with the window size, and i'll make the pop-up-window a bit bigger. you can also try to change the font size settings of your browser if it's not shown correctly (view > font size > medium). i prefer this option as it's going to look bad in most of the browsers concerning proportions if i change size for just a few. question: has anyone read the bulletin number 2, by the way? ciao flo_ch full story...

hi people. the second addition to our tutor pack, the bulletin number 2, is online. it is entitled "the alp transit". the approved collaboration with kotryna from lithuania, our umbrella tutor of this year, resulted in 20 interesting pages about important issues concerning the alps in general and transit through the alps in specific. find it on our website www.easa005.ch directly from the starting page or in "themes > bulletins > bulletin 2." website intro > "what is happening in the swiss alps? the country, keeping its borders close towards the surroundings, is at least opening up wholes in the mountains for everyone to pass from north to south and the other way around. the text about the largest building site in europe, the st. gotthard base tunnel, shows the whole process from the continental traffic concepts to the details of the tunnel boring machine. the frightening hole offers a protection surface for visions as the porta alpina project: a lift from the tunnels directly to the mountains! mvrdv's vision of the ski city is coming closer! in short texts, taken from the magazin werk, bauen + wohnen (10/2004), important issues in the current dicussion of the spacial importance of the alp valleys are demonstrated in outlines. for general swiss info, check out www.swissworld.org" full story...
