of a new easa communication platform: feel free to try it out and please don't hesitate to give feedback ;) best regards, marko full story...
Dear (new) EASA friends, dino's, etc, I just extended the easa.tk domain for another 3 years. I remember there were many plans on other domains, but as I just found too much discussion on this blog on this subject I decided it was easier to pay another 25 EUR in stead of reading all the arguments. Besides, this old site still seems to function (!). Also I believe the general preference was to keep this established name in stead of all those new longer more complicated suggestions. If there are any questions or requests on redirecting the domain name to somewhere else, getting more email forwarders, space or whatever, please let me know! Ciao ciao, Jelk PS: I am quite curious what happened with the 'new' site? PS2: Flo/Switzerland EASA 2005 organizers: I heard the EASA 2005 magazine and/or report was sent out, but I didn't receive it. Can you resend it to my new address? full story...
sorry for the strange error-messages, the problem is at the back-end and is about to be solved. btw: dear organizers 007 / incm-hosts 007, after the discussion at easa 007 in greece it was decided to donate some money from easa007 to the host of our blog. please see this story. what was the outcome after incm, how do we proceed? all the best, mark0 (at) full story...
sorry, if some of you got the ad-picture before entering the easa-blog. just to explain a little lets go back in history: 1768 days ago - that was thursday, 15th august, 2002 - right after i came back from my first easa, i wanted to keep this stunning easa-feeling a little longer. so i opened a weblog for all the people who met there on this little island in croatia called vis to keep contact. it started with a very brief note, today we are counting 1094 stories and thousands of comments of 800 members. we got 211'703 visitors and 583'937 pageviews to date, that makes 130/349 per day. to share information, interests and gossip about easa... from my personal point of view it somehow keeps it all together during the year, til we all meet again. and this all is for free! coded and hosted by some austrian guys like tobi. i feel like there should be some money in the (tight, i know) easa-budget to give a little donation to keep servers (containing the blog and our 1251 images) running. maybe we can manage somehow if i'm in greece or the organizers want to donate themselves... (if the above-mentioned reasons are not enough, here are 10 more ;) full story...
Hey guys! I had a coffee with a programmer friend a few days ago. Him and some people are working on database and event management software - I won't geek out about the details, but I'll just say that the applications they showed me were quite complex and cool. He was quite interested in the EASA stuff that I explained to him and would like to know more. So, is there any presentation from the archive group (wouter?) that I could use to explain the whole thing to them further, just to get more info? The prices for these things are supposed to range from 12000 eur at a professional company to 3000-4000 eur with freelances (for website and database code, no design), all depending on the specifications. full story...
A while ago, I launched a easa group on this nice mapping device bassed on google maps. an now with some more intense traffic on the blog we can add more people/places to the map, so it becomes more valuable: full story...
...can i kindly ask people posting to try to put their posts in appropriate topics? if possible... it just makes it easier to find information later. for example topic 'sesam 006 >>mkd' has only initial post and 2 comments even that there were more posts made. so one has to go through lots of posts to find things. regards, jovan.uk full story...
