we're back in holland as well. must say its been a very interesting week, loads of fun people and fun places. we almost missed our train, cause we didnt have enough dinars for the cab, and the driver was ofcourse the only cabdriver in the whole of beograd that didnt smoke, so cigarettes didnt work...we paid him in crisps and drinks, and one euro ;) anyway, it was great fun, hvala to dubi, dunya and all the rest. marten_holland_delft full story...
I am the first one who came back home from the INCM, and the first one who already started to miss you guys. Because of the rush, I forgot to say huge “HVALA” to the Serbian organizers. Everything was so.......... happy! :) Kisses to all, Boyana from Skopje full story... Hey there good people Does anyone know of some good internet sites with an overview of new funky high(or low)tech materials and products that can be used in archetecture and design? love Adam full story...
Hi Just remembered I saw these streamed tv programmes from friland, documenting building of econ pavillion and the straw dome, when I searched for presentation material. All in danish, but maybe you'll get a glimpse of yourself of somebody you know... On tv!! ;) And some articles and pictures too on this sight: Herman_swe full story...
After more than one year´s work we have almost finished the Arkforum project (We must resolve small details during this next weeks). We would have liked to report during the process, but the process has been unstable and many times in jeopardy by technical and support problems. Easa Spain believes it better to focus our effort in this process rather than dedicating it in organizing some easa event, and this is the result. Arkforum was born with a clear and intuitive scheme intending to make this new tool improve and expand the EASA horizons. The presence of CLEA and similar organizations in the future will enrich us mutually. Sharing a space while maintaining our independence will facilitate the communication and the exchange The website is organized in such a way that can be easily updated from any computer with basic knowledge. The idea is, and thus will be suggested during the INCM, to establish an international cooperation for the maintenance and updating of the website contents. This way during two years sections of both organizations will work together (Nederland – Chile, México-Croatia…). Untill INCM 2005; Easa Spain will take care of the updating and the optimization of the website. Also it will be necessary to establish some moderators for the forum (I propose those of the weblog). Ester will be in charge of working out any problems or doubts you might face. My relation with Easa finishes here; I hope to see you again some day. Take care & Enjoy Belgrade. Now is your turn… Ciao | Noel | Former Spanish NC P.d: Any criticism or comment will be very useful. SESAM in Belarus in 2005 will not be. On it there are two reasons: political and economic. About political I much shall begin to not speak (everyone know that was in Belarus on October 17), but I shall notice, that the main traditional support of the Belarusian association of students – architects (BASA) has disappeared - dean of Architectural faculty Galina Polanskaya became the deputy of Parliament. But second reason – SESAM a very expensive measure. In the summer 2004 the student's association of the architects has carried out in Belarus 4 camps (3 were international) till 8-11 of days everyone. All was fine, but the members of a BASA have lifted revolt, when have found out, that if will be SESAM-2005 in Belarus, there can be of money to realization 2-3 traditions camps in the summer- 2005. For the Byelorussian students of summer camp it is more, than meeting, tradition (for example camp "Alba" will be carried out since 1997) or… In Belarus SESAM there were 4 times. I think about EASA in Belarus but… Idea of qualitative SESAM in Belarus and on a very interesting theme is wonderfully (thank by Gosha!). We have many questions. On quality of camp of a summer-2004 were better, than usually, but more cheaply than could be SESAM-2005. It is difficult to us to speak about the standards in realization of the architectural actions, when we begin to speak about cultural distinction. For last two years we have developed the standard, which we develop further. But I think we should think more flexibly. .. but nobody is saying anything !? after an almost all-time record on monday, of a staggering 182 visits per day, we are close to break this record even today. but everybody is just watching, nobody contributes to easa-life ! i hope everybody is looking forward for belgrade, and thus is visiting in anticipation of new stories. other than that i don't have any explantions. now, does anyone dare to reply, except the usual suspects ? :) full story...
