EASA`s first european architectural event Towards the sustainable city sunday the 22nd of september is international car free day

I am proposing that the EASA community, (european architectural students assembly), is more than a few hundred students gathering, communicating and doing things for 2 weeks during the summer. I believe that it is a full time living community who can communicate and do things all the time. Thereby actually doing more progressive things, having a wider EASA body (as there are many who just cant get to that summer event) and communicating about more and more things.

In short EASA becomes more effective in bringing about positive architectural change

sunday the 22nd of september is international car free day. most european cities will zone off part of the city and provide free public transport. In dublin, ireland this will happen too

Many of us here in ireland are planning more than that We have organised irelands third free street party another “reclaim the streets” We will take to the streets and have a major party The picture above is of the last one in may where @ 1000 people partied all day We will continue to do this, it will grow and grow This is architectural direct action; making better cities Below is a picture of the berlin love parade That started in 1989 with 150 people dancing on the streets Now you get around 1,500,000. People dancing on the streets

I propose that the n.c`s from all countries organize as many people as possible in their own country and if there is “reclaim the streets”, participate and document it. Then report back to this article after for further discussion about sustainable cities. If there is no RTS in your country, contact you friends and make one

we came to vis from all over the world we communicated, learned, laughed, lived, loved we have left for the time being connections were made and the NETWORK is growing

vis was the centre point, the nucleus for our actions

samogor was the centre point of vis

the samogor art gallery was created as a place to discuss, view, communicate, share ideas and all the rest it and its surrounding land was the centre point while we lived in samogor

we turned a derelict unused building into that gallery and hopefully it will continue to grow, being used by the locals

we are constructing the "samogor art gallery" website and soon we hope to be having events and installations up and running again
