YODA DIDN'T MAKE IT (home:))

yup.... well my friends..it's true... YODA didn't make it home.... he is travelling with our backpacks and all our belongings through INDIA... he is probably chilling with some guru in Tibet having a nice cold drink, finding his force away from easa... Believe me or not, this is no joke...we found out at the romanian airport that they lost our bags and that they are probably on their route to India (becouse that was the next airplane at the gate) Crazy, I know...but what better ending for such a crazy incm??? k..now comes the BIG THANKS: thank you UK guys for your work and for the splendid time we had. thanks Jim, Simon, Lewis and every other organiser; thank you ncs; and a special thanks to Inara for such a great competition..we can't wait to come visit Moscow :) The big question (as so many of you suggested in the last day) Should we still try to organise something in Bucharest? Some sort of chill out lounge only with visiting, lectures and parties? If you still want to come just to have easa fun getting to know a weird city...let us know. We're thinking of makeing it maybe this spring...but we are opened for suggestions :P

hugs and kisses Miro - Romania

The dust settles...

Dear All - those who made Brighton happen, those otherwise engaged and to all other online EASAians.

Thanks for coming, wanting to come and being interested in the proceedings - we made it through a busy week, all in one piece - the final hurdle being a very steep staircase at our closing party!

Some thought we didn't have a proper chance to say 'good-bye' but who needs to when we've a lively weblog!?

I've checked my flat for stray Belgiums and believe there's only the odd EASAian wandering the streets of LDN.

Now back at work, it all seems like a dream.

I shall post details of the places visited, when I've the chance, please bear with me while I catch up on my beauty sleep...

Good to see healthy comment on INCM meetings!

Back shortly;

Jim UK NC

INCM SUM-UP

All - - Please may we reserve our personal summing up of the INCM until a summarised report is made. The purpose of the daily minutes was to make clear and counter any feeling of unrest, so that everyone understood and was in agreement as to the final direction and transparency of every meeting and the whole INCM. It is so important that we do not exeagerate situations due to raised emotions.

I would like to set the record straight that there was no dirty talk, no slander and critically no intnet to create a circumstance where this was either possible or condusive.

So much of the pressure encountered within these meetings is due to the situation and constraints placed on us, especially time. Decisions must be made at the INCM's. This is the crtitical forum for our debate. To this end pressure and efficiency must exist, please do not confuse this with hidden agendas.

I hope I speak for everyone when I re-itterate that we have all taken the time with equal intent, to participate within a network which we so greatly value - I do not believe that one person would invest such time in order to deliver malace or deceit.

Negatvie responses are critical so we may learn and move EASA on, however please may we have constructive critism, at the same time suggesting improvements. For there is no debate or advancement from complaint. This to save bias and confusion from those unfortunatly unable to attend.

I shall work to finish the report with with Marten and Jovan within the day or two.

thank you LEWIS.

To those of you who left feeling disheartened or let down - I am very sorry you feel so.

Congratulations to all those that presented: Hungary, Greece, Russia, Armenia, France, Turkey, Romania, Macedonia. This huge effort clearly shows in the words of Romania "the force is strong" and in the words of Marten "(my body is saying let's go) Ooooh (but my heart is saying no)" .....
