Again I am trying to get people to share ideas and to make the website more exciting. This is the website for thousands of architectural students in Europe. More should be happening. So im proposing a few things, hopefully you will agree and do whats necessary

2- EASA letter to all architectural colleges in europe the NC(s) should send a letter or email to all architectural colleges of their country to inform them of EASA. I was unaware of EASA for a long time, surely more are unaware of it

3- whats going on easa.antville.org as NC`s we add an article in the “whats goin on” section at least once a month. It can be as long or as short as you want. Pictures help.

4-paraply continues I have mailed johanas and asked him to respond to me on the weblog, still no response? College is starting back. New people are getting involved, they want to write articles. Is it possible to create PDF files? If this happens. NC`s print a copy of the paper and put it up around their own college easa.antville.org

5- easa chatroom our latin American sister organisation, ELEA. Meets every Sunday for a designated 2 hours in an online chatroom. I have visited them and said hello, Spanish noel was there too. I propose we create a similar sort of chat room or else use their one if they agree, this might be a better option as it will further improve communication between the 2 continents easa.antville.org discusses this more

GLOBALISATION AND THE MEDIA was the documentary screened in the umbrella tent during EASA003 in denmark. it is going to be screened soon in DIT (dublin institute of technology) school of architecture and i am wondering whether there is anyone else who would like a copy of the documentary and is willing to show the film in their college. i can burn and post you a copy. its from "informed dissent", an undercurrents cd rom which also includes much other v relevant info about what is going on in the world today. world renowned philosopher noam chomsky offers much info on what the US is doing today. it would be an exciting project if there was a few nodes around europe showing this film at the same time, and then meeting up in an online chatroom to discuss things after. as was proposed here http://easa.antville.org/stories/521450/

A few months ago we started a new organisation intending to stimulate the international contacts for architecture students. (I didn't know that EASA exists). It's called CRE-ARP, Creative Architecture Platform. In december we want to organise a seminar in Rotterdam in association with the international organisation of history students. ¬ Structure: tree-trunks (spruce, larch) ¬ Cladding: oak, larch and cedar (non-treated) ¬ Roof: slate and planted

"The house is situated hillside of a former railway-embankment. The central volume of the building is quite narrow and stretched and closed by a flat roof. The latter is completely covered with arable earth where shrubs and other vegetation will be planted. Inside an arch symbolizes a bridge and the wooden floor lays on simple tree-trunks which are placed in a staggered arrangement - as they were in the forest."

Delhez generally tries to use some traditional technique to give the buildings some sculptural effect. Yet here he stayed quite sober in his formal language. Somehow the house does not really look as being located in Belgium.
